Warmest wishes for the holiday season!

It’s been a tough year in security, with the industry dealing with multiple challenges, from global conflicts and supply chain disruptions, to raw material shortages and inflationary pressures. At Databac, we’ve been working hard to ensure the highest standards of service, while taking measures to mitigate any long-term effects of the market situation. Throughout the year, we have been increasing material stocks and bringing more services in-house in order to shorten our lead times and manage costs. Business is back on track, rising above pre-pandemic levels, with a 20% increase in turnover across the group, demonstrating the continued trust of our customers.

2023 saw us invest heavily in training and certification. We worked with our hardware and software partners to ensure that our teams can extend and support the latest in ID and card printing technologies to our customers. The group is certified for ISO quality, environmental control and digital security standards, as well as Cyber Essentials, making us ready and prepared to manage large, national projects.

We also invested in new printing equipment for on-demand personalisation of our new range of eco products, including recycled PVC, wood and metal credentials. As a hybrid manufacturer, we combine in-house production with local sourcing where possible, aiming to provide ‘Made in Britain’ solutions.

All in all, despite the challenges we have collectively faced, 2023 has been a good year for Databac and we look towards the year ahead with a positive outlook.
