What’s in an RFID card?

RFID cards consist of an aerial (antenna) and RFID chip embedded within a CR80 card body made of PVC, PETG, PC (polycarbonate) or wood. Each RFID card has a unique identification number. Compared to a magnetic stripe or barcode card, it has a much longer lifetime. Even if the surface of the card is scratched, it can still function, whereas a magnetic stripe card can easily demagnetise and a barcode card is more prone to wear and tear.

How does RFID technology work?

Databac is pleased to announce that its Spanish office has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications by leading standards agency TÜV Saarland, bringing it in line with the global organisation.

ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures that Databac’s activity as an ID solutions provider conforms to internationally recognised standards for quality assurance and customer service.
